Do you have ever thought that why there is so more air and less chips in the chips packets???
If you have asked people about this then they have might said you that this is because the company want to hide the number of chips in their packets and they want to make profit by not showing it.But this is tottall wrong.
Actually,The air inside the packet is not the normal air it's nitrogen
* prevent the chips from going stale
*It also prevents the growth of bacteria and other germs
*The air gives a cushioning effect  
 if there will be no air then the chips will become powder.
